Stamped Bells
Sleigh bells made out of sheet metal of varying thickness, frequently plated. Bells are one or two part construction with rivets for attaching to the leather strap.

49 Bells on Creased Leather Strap
These bells are made from 2 parts; a top section and a bottom section. The original plating was almost completely gone, showing the brass underneath. Customer chose to not clean/ polish the bells and leave them as found. A new brown leather strap was made with decorative creasing down the edges, a fancy billet end and an embossed keeper loop.

Vintage Arctic Bells on New Black Leather Strap
These bells were purchased by the customer in the 1960's. The original leather strap had suffered from dry rot and the bells had been installed using pop rivets. We chose to copy the construction of the original strap as well as keeping the original buckle. The bells were gently cleaned but left unpolished. In cases like this, I am able to use a much nicer looking modified rivet that mimics the look of old ones, rather than plain pop rivets.

30 Nickel Plated Stamped Bells
Another style of stamped bells. Again, these were made from very thin brass and nickel plated. The thin plating has worn off, showing the base metal.
